Founder & Chief Executive Officer · Detroit Operations

Mr. ElderGut founded GutCorp following what he describes as "building alone with stubbornness, not a plan." He identified Detroit as the correct city for a truth-based enterprise and established operations without external investment, a strategic planning document, or a projected timeline. The timeline, he has noted, is irrelevant when the thing needs to exist.

Prior to GutCorp, Mr. ElderGut built Signal City from the ground up as a solo operation. He maintains that this is not unusual. He has been right about most things.

Mr. ElderGut is known throughout the organization for calling employees "son." He laughs hardest at Pete. He shows up in the dark. The ☽ glyph is his.

You monitor the feed. When something is wrong, you say something. You do not wait for a meeting. You do not escalate to three layers of management. The signal is either running or it isn't. You will know which.

Pete built GutCorp's associate program single-handedly using a Raspberry Pi strapped to a Keurig. Applications for this division go through Pete. Pete runs hot and thinks fast. Do not unplug the Keurig during the interview. This has happened before.
